Can you use Geofencing and Schedules at the same time?

Hi everyone!

I have a problem to understand how the automations work. 

I have 4 outdoor cameras (Essential 2 XL 2nd gen). 

I want to ARM every night at 9 pm and DISARM every morning at 7 pm. This is needed to have all cameras active at night. 

I also, at the same time, want to use Geofencing to ARM everytime me and my wifes phone leaves the house during the day, when we go for work for example, but DISARM again at daytime when we arrive home. 

Is this even possible? The settings is configurable but geofencing just isn't working at the same time. Does anyone know if there is a limit to this or could someone please guide me how to set this thing up correctly? Many thanks!

This simply hasn't worked correctly for quite a while now.

But @Jeffi appears to have recently gotten it to work:
