I use Arlo at our church to monitor the grounds.  Our grounds keeper comes at iregular times.  When I notice he is there I will deactivate motion detection, and of course, I forget to turn the cameras back on.  It would be nice to have a button that temporarily turns off the cameras for a short period - 1, 2, or 3 hours.

This has been requested countless times before and for the first time, years ago. I'm unclear what the reasons are not to implement this, but indeed, you're not the only that forgets to re-arm your system.

While I agree this would be nice, I would like to point out a workaround.

You can schedule the system to arm the cameras every day at a particular time (perhaps in the evening after church activities are generally concluded).  That would act as a safety net, making sure the system isn't disarmed too long.
