Arlo no longer allows you to add modes??

Three modes only? That's about 2-3 modes too few to be useful to me. Its definitely stepped back towards amateur security, a pretty inconsiderate move to be forced on its users.
Is arlo going to restore the ability to add modes? or do I need to find a new security system? ugh.

It was interesting to note that the arlo home security system released had only three physical buttons on the keypad unit. Although arlo created a separate app for the system it was not compatible with the older arlo secure app so hence the removal of custom modes when they released the new UI version of the secure app that you were given to use.
Although arlo has since acknowledged the mistake they will likely take a year or two to restore the feature going by arlo’s track record.

@DannyBearAgain sorry, but there has been no acknowledgement of any mistakes on Arlo's part. Ever. I've had a number of issues over the years (the latest one is that you can't pause recorded videos in the app) and I've *never* had an acknowledgment or apology from Arlo. Just thought I'd point this out for clarification.

While not an apology, post 3 above does say that Arlo will change the design as a result of customer feedback, which IMO is an admission that the three mode limitation was a mistake.

It's not an admission or a commitment to change the modes. All due respect, but you're seeing what you want to see.
It is as close as a US company will come to saying they made a mistake.
They are saying that they will change the design to add a similar feature, so I disagree with your assessment there.
Of course we will see what they actually do.
