I got a power outage recently and the Arlo base (VMB4000) stays offline. I have tried the usual workarounds. Turn off for a while, disconnect power and ethernet, reboot router, log off and on and nothing.
Router says the Base is connected and fine.
This happened before and ended up having to factory reset and re-condigure everything, but I recently got 4 new cameras and that makes 8 of them so if i have to reconfigure them every time power outs I might as well return them now as I still have time.

I had a base some time ago that acted in the same way - looked like all was good but no connection to the servers. A different base solved the problem. My guess is that the power outage damaged the base in some way (power spike?) so you'll likely need to replace it.
