Open app, no login required, goes straight to cameras and can view any of them without login.  Tried usual stuff... Any ideas?

The behavior you describe is expected. After logging in and authenticating your device, you will not need to log back in until the session expires or you explicitly log out.

 

If you're trying to log out, you can navigate to Settings > Profile > Log Out
