Anyone else missing a proper alarm in the app when you're away from home?

Hi all,

I was expecting the option to have a proper alarm sound from the app with the "Away" mode. If I'm off somewhere else for the night sleeping, a simple notification won't wake me up if the camera is triggered. Has this been suggested before?

I believe both versions of the app (iOS and Android) support changing the notification sound to your liking. However, that's a global change so would be the same during the day. To change this, go into the phone settings for the app and click on Notifications. Click on Notifications again and scroll down to the sound choice.

Thanks, but I don't want a global change. Even having the option to change notification sound just for the Arlo app would help a lot, but it seems that Apple blame app devs and app devs blame Apple when 3rd party apps can't have individual notification sounds.

But I still think the best option would be to differentiate between alarms and notofications.
