Just got updated to this android app 6.6.0 (released 11/11/25).

What's new with this release?  Does it fix any issue?

If you go to this location you should be able to see what changes are made with the new update:

So can you tell me what bugs have been fixed?

Well, a new thing is that the tiles of cameras periodically refresh themselves. So, as if someone pressed 'live view' on them (so, not the last recorded view). Though, they don't always do that for all cameras. And they don't always do that when you're in the app. I wonder if this will have an impact on battery life.

I am feeling this "feature" too.  Just now when I switched to dashboard, after getting alert from camera A, I noticed that camera B tile was as updated as last minute (show the same cat recorded and alerted in A).

Is this a good change?  I dunno.  But even if it's at least not bad, what's the point of adding such low priority feature?

Agree that the only thing I can say is that the battery will be drained faster.

Curious if above new feature configurable?  Say frequency of the snapshots.

Let's ask @JamesC

James, would you please kindly tell us about this feature?

Cheers.
