My Arlo Pro3 system has been made to stop working and I'm being forced to upgrade. To do so I have to get the download from Apple for my phone. However, I don't agree with Apple's requirement to let them track damn near everything in my life. Read what they track and gather in the agreement. I bought my system from Arlo not Apple. Now I just have a bunch of originally expensive equipment that is useless unless I let Apple take control of and access my data and monitor my life. It was bad enough having to pay a monthly fee for most of the features but now this. I definitely will never tell anyone to buy these products. If anyone knows how to get around the Apple crap and get the upgrade it would be appreciated.

For better or worse, iOS is a closed ecosystem. The only way to do that is to purchase an Android phone.  Then you could side-load the Arlo app if you want to.

(FWIW, I do use iOS even though it is closed).

You must have installed the app from the Apple Store in the first place, and your app has been updating in the background via the apple store for years.  So that ship sailed long ago.

Back on track - what isn't working with your Arlo system?
