How in earth are you supposed to set up the people/vehicles that are supposed to be recognised? I can’t find this information anywhere the link in the email just takes you to the general person, vehicle, package detection page. Currently I am paying extra for this service and can’t even activate/use it

I struggled with this setup, too. It turns out to be easier than I made it out to be. Go to either the Person or Vehicle setup selection (they work the same way). Click on the Unrecognized selection and view the thumbnails. Note the 3 dot menu icon at the top right - click on it and select individual ones that you won't use to delete them. You may only get ~50 images to select so will need to go back and repeat the process to remove unwanted ones. You then can click on one image to start the known person/vehicle process. It may well present you with others so use the 3 dot menu to select them appropriately and either remove them or use the "This is someone else/This is a different vehicle" selection. Note that you can continue to add additional thumbnails to existing named people/vehicles, too.

It doesn't seem documented  but after some poking around, using the 3 dot menus on each screen, deleting items, adding certain ones, etc. it slowly comes into shape.

Thanks for the reply, the main issue was actually finding the settings, as in the instructions it said to click on an active camera, rather than to click on the person icon and then the active subscription. I have manged to add some recognised people now, although the cameras don't seem to be naming them yet, we'll see if it learns over time.

The camera doesn't do any naming. You must continue to monitor unknown people and delete them or add them to new or existing designations.
