Will the Arlo Q notify me when someone passes?

Will an Arlo q placed in a window monitor the front of my home?  Will it notify me when someone passes?

The Q is a good choice for this. Since it uses pixel-based detection, there's no issue with placing it behind glass as long as you disable night vision so the LEDs don't reflect into the lens. Use outdoor lighting for nighttime.  Of course, watching everything go by could lead to too many recordings/notifications to the point of annoyance.
