Latest firmware up to date.  Both VMC 3040 units ceased to function about the same time.  Reset conducted to the audible click.  Sync button pressed to blue flashing.  Submit a new camera to log in.  Base station seeking does not engage… meanwhile three other units are passively monitoring!   Times out.
Is this part of the End of Use Policy…. the updated firmware has effectively rendered my merchandise useless?

The VMC3040 (Arlo Q) can't connect to your base station, it only connects to your home wifi.  Are you sure you have the correct camera model???  If you are, then perhaps you are adding the wrong camera with "add device"???

Thanks.  The model of camera (vmc3040) is not provided in the list of acceptable cameras to “Add A New Camera” to.  That is a problem.  Why is it not in the provided list?

It is also known as the Arlo Q.  Look in Cameras and then "Others" and you will see it.
