I just bought an arlo q from Costco Canada. I downloaded the newest app, started the instructions and all was going well until it said it was trying to detect

any devices. It comes back they cannot detect any.

i put in my network and password, synced and the blue light came on. Heard the chime when I scanned the barcode and then it says it cannot detect a device.

what is the problem?

thanks,

lynne banks

Forget the first post. I finally got it all going. My problem was I was not putting my network name in all capitals.
now it worked fine and I played with it for a few hours and it was capturing everything fine and I could go to my library and watch the videos.

now this morning I changed locations and it seems to be working ok yet after it captures movements now it says I don’t have permission to access it.

any ideas why this is happening.

thanks

Hey Smartypants,

Could you provide a screenshot where it shows you don't have permission to access it? Are you a grant access user?
