I recently bought a new essentials cam. When I set it up, it updated the app on my phone. All of a sudden an older cam, Arlo Q started notifying me of every movement in my dining room. I can not find the ability to shut off those notifications.

Where can I edit the notifications? For instance, I have an Alley cam and a front yard cam (Arlo Ultra 2's) that are both set to only send notifications when people pass by. All other camera have no notifications sent at all. Just recording. However I can't find where to change those settings anymore. That's all I really need to know, Where can I change the settings for individual camera notifications?

Notifications are set in your modes and rules. Click on Routines and edit your modes and camera rules to make changes.

Thank you for your response. I have found these. However, the ability to distinguish between People, Animals, Vehicles and such is nowhere to be found.

Those are smart notification settings, and they are not in the rules for the camera.

If you are see "Feed" in your app, then

  1. press the profile icon in the upper left of the profile page
  2. press "home"
  3. press "smart notifications"
