After updating my mobile app a few days ago, my motion detection hasn’t been working. It is not recording motion (I have the free 7 day storage) nor sending alerts. However, it’s not working either if I set it from my laptop. Only sound detection is working. I don’t have the option to do a motion detection test. I tried adjusting the sensitivity, unplugging, restarting, etc. with no luck. The camera will still make noises and adjusts to settings, and I can still watch live and record, so I don’t believe it’s an issue with the camera itself.

It still could be the camera. The Q/Q-plus uses hardware in the camera to detect motion in the video image. That could be misbehaving.
Unfortunately the motion detection test isn't supported for the Q cameras.

Would you suggest trying to reinstall the camera completely or waiting to see if an app update fixes it? Thank you.
