Are there any settings which can improve live feed latency? For example, does reducing video quality significantly improve stream latency?

 

I am using my Arlo Q as a baby monitor and have a good 5-7 second delay while on the same local network. I would like to get this down significantly if possible.

 

Is there any indication that Netgear will provide a more traditional IP Camera mode in addition to their current mothership only configuration?

 

Any help is appreciated!

You'd have to be able to grab the stream as it leaves the house. Right now that's not possible since the stream goes to the server and back to you with whatever delays at whatever place.
