Hi Folks,

I have an Arlo in a rather difficult place to get to, to change the batteries. I can get power to the location and was wondering if the Arlo Q is safe for outdoor use? It's somewhat protected, but still exposed.

Thanks,

Craig

There doesn't seem to be anything sealed on the Q. Maybe in a clear box that prevents all moisture from entering but you'd be on your own since that usage would void your warranty. The Pro cameras will be having a solar panel coming out early(?) next year which may be a better choice.

Yes and I can't wait for the solar panel to come out, that would make the pro all that more appealing to current and new users of Arlo cameras!
