Is the Arlo Q Camera able to support Static IP addresses?

Hi There,

I'm trying to assign a static IP address to my Arlo Q camera. I konw you can't do it through the app itself, though i've tried to manually assign an IP through my router, though when I do that the camera doesn't get recognised on my network.

Anyone else had similar issues or can point me to the right direction?

The camera requires DHCP so make sure the router is set for both DHCP and the Q camera is set to a fixed IP. That way the router assigns the address when requested when the Q powers up. You can verify that the camera is getting the address by checking what devices are connected.
