Internet of Things Hub "not included but needed"

On the Best Buy website, their comparisons of the Arlo Q, Arlo Q+ say an internet of things hub is not included but needed. Is this correct? If so, what does it mean?

That.s a weird statement but it means that the Q cameras don't use a separate base station.

Correct.  The Q cameras are self-contained and connect to your home WiFi directly.
