Is it possible to get internet connection to my base station with the ethernet cable plugged into my computer with wifi instead of a router? I tried to enable internet connection sharing and I still get no lights showing u[ at all on the internet led

There may be a tricky way to do this but the quick answer is no. The computer by default doesn't act as a router so you're out of luck.
