Giving access to friend with existing account

Arlo won’t let friend accept access from me because he already has an account! Help!

He needs to remove arlo app from his mobil device first, then open the granted acess email you sent him.  Click on the link of "create your own account" then on the next screen click on the apps store to down load arlo app again.  Open the app and log on with his existing account and he'll see your cameras and his all in there.  Make sure you click on all the cameras you want to grant him access, and the "access" button.

 

That's how i did it but may be could just try to log out and back in his arlo app first to see if that works.

Actually he didn’t have to remove accounts. He had to log in when directed to that page by the invite link. (He had to be careful not to click New Account. ) But this failed to work on his phone. He had to do it on his computer.

Everything usually works well on a real computer.  On a phone is completely a different story,  nothing seems straightforward as instructed. Try to reset a password on a phone.  On some phones it takes many tries and on others, it never works at all.
