Does CVR record audio 24/7 too?

Does CVR record audio 24/7 too? I just need to know for sure before I give up my free trial to smart premier, since adding CVR will invalidate the smart premier trial, and supposedly customer service won't do anything about it. 

And as a bonus, am I able to view the CVR recordings on a browser and able to speed them up? Even if this isn't a native feature, I'm curious if anyone has used one of the many chrome extensions that allow you to speed up a video.
