I have setup a new camera, the date and time settings on my library of recordings is not correct though, it is approximatel 18 hours behind. ... so wrong day and wrong time.
I suspect the settings are US settings (I am in Australia) but I cannnot find where to alter this.
Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

Settings, My Devices, click on your base station and set the time zone.
Edit: OOPS! The process is the same for a Q only you click on the camera and set the time zone.

I also am in Australia and my Time zone has been set to Sydney since I first setup my system, however, I also am seeing that the date and time are incorrect and I cannot change it, or see where to change it. I have also restarted my device to no avail.
I also see that when setting the Geolocation of my home, the radius is in the outdated "Feet" measurement instead of the normal metric units of Meters.
For such a slick app and web interface, it seems weird that there would be such a fundamental oversight as to not have a place in settings to manually configure this information. I really hope Netgear gets onto this problem pretty soon.

Dunno why it would change but you seem to have ruled out the usual issues. You could try selecting a different TZ, save and then change it back to see if that helps. If not, I suspect your only options are 1) reset the camera using the reset button until the LED flashes amber and resync and/or 2) contact support and open a case.
No idea if that would somehow fix feet vs. meters. Maybe that's an issue with what the programmers are used to and not following local convention. "Feet" isn't outdated everywhere but sometimes those of us who use it think the rest of the world doesn't exist.

leothelyn,
You can change your Time Zone settings by logging in to your Arlo account and navigating to Settings > My Devices > select your Base Station > select the appropriate Time Zone from the drop down list.
