I am trying to connect 2 Arlo Q. When I turn them on theres a solid amber light then they turn solid blue. They do not flicker amber. When I hold the sync button they do flick blue but wont connect. Not sure what to do next.

You don't hold the sync button - it's just a press. I assume you're using the steps after using the Add Device button on the Cameras tab and have selected the Q camera?

Kawanasone,
You might consider a factory reset of the Arlo Q by pressing and holding the reset button until you hear a "click". Allow the camera to reboot and then attempt the sync process again.
Please let us know if you are still having issues,
