Yes. A Q camera utilizes only your home WiFi.

As PS... yes but remember that tho they will all appear in the app/prgm... the Q has to be armed separately as it is really a stand-alone

Thanks Tom, was hoping this would work with my system I currently have, the batteries are so expensive to to replace due to the cold weather in Alaska winters

I actually like it separate... as it allows a bigger option for arming patterns.

But if your worried about batteries, the PRO cameras work with either base AND can be left plugged into AC... they ( arlo / arlo Pro ) all arm as one unit
