TomMac, Thank you for your reply. Please bear with me (technologically challenged). So, if there is a power outage, after the power comes back on the Arlo Q automatically resets and starts working again so no one has to be at the location if the wifi and backup are working. What do you mean by "backup"? Unfortunately, in my location we do have the occasional power outage. I want to make sure Arlo Q will start working again after power is restored.

One way to help this situation is to use a UPS/battery backup for your modem, router and your camera(s).  That way they will fly through any power outages.  You'd either need multiple UPSes or extension cords to reach all the equipment.
