I have a vacation cottage and am interested in getting seasonal internet.

During the winter months theybwould charge $5/month but the service would be 56k speed.

Does anyone know if thatbwould be suffiecient to run an Arlo Q?

I could turn down the resolution to 240, 360, 480 etc. as long as it would alert me and show and image.

The min recommended by Netgear is 1Mbs upload

Not to say it may not work, but slow speeds do cause problems... anyway, here's the data info as per rez

Dave... was thinkig about it... but I wonder how well the Q camera would do taking snapshots only  ...It may NOT be such a heavy load on the 56k max.

Just a thought as I haven't tested it and the Q is the only one that takes snapshots instead of videos
