I have been using the Arlo Q in my kitchen for a few days now.  Today the cam shows about a 1/4 of the screen gray and it's a solid gray not an overlay.  I restarted the cam and uninstalled the device and reinstalled with no affect on the gray area. I am running the latest firmware, 1.8.3.0_9926 and iOS 10.2.3. What could be the problem?

If you RESET the Q cam ( hold in reset for ten secs tll led flashes ) and it's still the same, it sound like a hardware issue...

Also test on a PC if able by going to https://arlo.netgear.com/  and doing a LIVE VIEW of camera as opposed to a playback of prior file

If still NG, either return or contact Netgear for a warranty issue

Thanks TomMac.  The gray area is still there so I'll just return it.
