If Arlo detects motion at night, I want to send a message to a mobile number that is different from the day time alert. I cannot figure out to do this. Anybody?

Create a new custom mode for night using your cell#, run the armed mode in day and the custom mode at night in schedule

web search will show all cell carriers; add 10 digit phone# to front

  • Alltel: @message.alltel.com
  • Nextel: @messaging.nextel.com
  • Sprint: @messaging.sprintpcs.com
  • SunCom: @TMS.suncom.com
  • T-mobile: @tmomail.net
  • VoiceStream: @voicestream.net
  • Verizon: @vtext.com (text only) or @vzwpix.com (photos and video)

You could use the email notification to your cell provider's text messaging site so you get a text.
