Arlo Q Persistent Notification

I have accessed my camera online using Android Arlo app, but when i exit the app, I am getting perisistent notification the "Bedroom is playing". This only happens using the Arlo app on my phone (Android 9), and not on my tablet (Android 7).

 

How can I stop this notificaiton when I exit the app.

I'm having the same issue. No way to clear the notification nor does it take me to the app. Android 9.0 on a Pixel 2.

Have you tried to reboot the camera by removing/inserting the power cable power? or Settings > My Devices > Arlo Q > Restart

I messed around with it last night and my opinion is the issue isn't the camera, it's the app. The only way to clear the notification is to reboot the phone itself. 

 

To repro it on your end:

 

1) Pixel 2 with Android 9

2) Open Arlo app

3) Access a camera

4) Background the app without pausing the camera or logging out

5) Notification will appear and get stuck

6) Reboot phone to clear

 

Logging out before backgrounding the app keeps the notification from appearing.

I'm a new user as of last Saturday (9/29). This has been an issue since I installed the cameras, but I haven't tried to access them on another version of Android like the user above. i have a tablet running 8.1. I'll check that tonight.
