Arlo Geofencing - cycling between home and away

While at home, Arlo will cycle between home and away every 10 minutes or so. There was a thread on this issue with a lot of complaints but now it shows Access Denied. Is anything being done to solve this issue? It makes the system useless if you don't wish to be recorded at home and don't want to continually manually switch modes. Very fustrating.

does your phone turn GPS off as some sort of power save function? or does it force close background apps after 10 minutes? if so, it could be causing issues.
