Is it possible for the camera to record constantly and not only when there is motion

Is it possible for the camera to record constantly and not only when there is motion. The recordings are sometimes only 20 to 25 seconds long.

Use of CVR is what you would give you this. Continuous recording would eat up disk and network bandwidth quickly.
