Arlo Q plus need internet (wifi) connection for video recording?

Hi,

Does Arlo Q plus requires to connect to any form of internet communication, in order to commence video recording?

Is there any method to perform local video recording without any form of internet connection?

All Arlo cameras are designed to require Internet access. The Q+ does support a micro-SD card which will store recordings even if offline but it's really just a backup device. You can remove the card to view the videos but without Internet access you can't control the camera in any way.
