Hi.. Pro3 Floodlight Camera is a wire-free device primarily designed to get activated upon motion or audio triggers. You can also manually turn on the light when desired, but prolonged turn on will affect the battery life as it is not meant to be a replacement for your traditional light sources.

The Dusk to Dawn sensor feature allows to you adjust when you want the light to turn on upon a motion or audio trigger, based on the ambient brightness. Please see this KB article for more information:
