the icon for the sound or a speaker is not highlighted? how can I activate that? thank you

Do you mean in the app Devices screen? It indicates if the camera is listening to audio for triggering. To have it go black, you would need to edit the mode you're in and edit the rule for that camera and check the box that says "Detects Audio" but obviously this means the camera will start recording when there's sound
