"Battery Fully Charged Indicator" on/off item in settings

On the settings page for each camera, there is an on/off button labeled "Battery Fully Charged Indicator" -- exactly what is this turning on and off?

There's a blue light that comes out on the cam when fully charged. You can turn it off if you don't want any distraction
