"Activate Siren" does not seem to function on my new system (AVM4000C)

Greetings all,

I just installed my Arlo Pro system today (model AVM4000C).  The box states there is a 100dB siren included, and the app has a button to "Activate Siren".  When I push that button, the app tells me to "select device to activate siren".  My base station is listed, but it is grayed out and won't allow me to choose it.  Any ideas about what might be happening here?

I might try and uninstall and reinstall the app

Good morning @TomMac,

 

Thank you for the tip.  The alarm did activate when I tried it through the website.  I have just checked my phone again, the option to choose the base station remains grayed out.  Any suggestions on how I might correct that?

That did the trick (uninstalling the app on my phone and reinstalling). Thank you!
