I just got an unwanted update and I also have the same issue.  I bought my arlo pro system 8 years ago specifically because I could use it without a subscription, now it's useless.

Same thing happened to me. I bought these cuz I didn’t need a subscription to use them. Now they are useless. I’ve had 3 cameras for years. I won’t pay for subscription and will never buy this brand again.
