connecting camera system

I'm trying to figure out how to configure this system in my moms home. My mom has a net gear router as well as a separate modem. If I connect the yellow cord to the arlo netgear box then it disconnects the internet in the house. Any suggestions on how to do this?  Thanks!

The yellow cable from the Arlo base must be connected to a free port on the Netgear router not to the yellow internet port.
