Hello, I just received my alro pro HD yesterday and I am yet to install it. But the thing is I will be using it outdoor at my farm site precisely which is about 2 hectares. The main purpose is because of intruders stealing my produce but my question is "what is the range the camera can see, in terms of distance". The base station will be together with the cameras I just need to know how far the camera can see. The seller told me as long as my eyes can see it, alro HD pro can see it. Also, I will be using a pole abt 12 to 15 feet long (street lights pole like) while the base station And internet will be power by a solar panel.
Kindly respond as soon as possible. Thank you!
For some reasons model didn't show in the section but here it is VMB4000

First the range of the cameras to the base unit in the best conditions is a max of about 300ft ( just like any wifi ) from the base... it lessens as the signal must travel thru walls, etc.
As to he "sight" of the camera... the camera has a 130d angle viewing ... but if mounted high enough and a clear view , it will see the 100- 200 meters you need but you may have a hard time determining almost anything but movement as the subject will be small ( it will prob see a car if not normally there )
Here is an Aro Pro picture, camera is 4 ft high on fence.
Mailbox at driveway end is aprox 75 ft...car across is aprox ( parked in front of house ) 300ft
