my camera was just stolen, 6 months old, homeless person stood on top of a trash can and ripped it off the 1/4 20 threads leaving the socket from the camera on my mount. Arlo only replaces camera if you subcribe to a service I dont need. its to bad they dont sell it at cost or a lot cheaper, not sure i want to replace it.

found out about this aferward, still would'nt help, i dont see the need for the cloud. still wish arlo would help. not feeling good about arlo right now, the theif ripped the socket out of the bottom the camera.

Arlo has always been sold as a cloud-based system. If that concerns you, you shouldn't have considered Arlo.
There's no theft-proof camera. If someone has the determination and desire, it's gone (or at least damaged).
