Arlo Q 3040, firmware 1.8.3.0_9926, Hardware VMC3040r6
Brand new today. I set up and ran an Arlo system for my parents for a couple of years. Now I have a camera for my home. It is set up and functioning but I have a perpetual alert symbol under Settings > Profile. I have clicked the "Confirm your email to receive alerts" link multiple times from both my desktop and my iPhone. No message ever shows up. I have checked the spam and junk folders. The alert does not inhibit or interfere with the camera's operations, fortunately. But I'd like to get ride of the alert status.Thanks for your help!

Do you get alerts of any sort? You could try flushing the cache of both the app and browser to see if that helps. Is this account for the new system also a new account?

Hi! Thanks for replying. I get email push notifications when sound or motion are detected. (Well, I did. I turned those off.) But before I turned them off I tried many times to accomplish the verify email step. I've cleared the cache. Rebooted the computer. Tried IE and Chrome. Same behavior: After I click the link, I get a message box saying the email has been sent. The message never arrives.

Have you checked your spam folder? It could be that your email provider is filtering the confirmation email.
