arlo pro and arlo wont record a set amount of time

Arlo pro- I have it set to record a fixed amount of time at 30 seconds. It appears it will only record motion so I am left with 3 seccond and 7 seccond videos even though I have it set to record for a set amount of 30 seconds.

That's really short. It normally cuts off at 26-29 seconds when the signal between the camera and base is weak and/or if your internet speed is too slow.

So 1. What's your internet speed? You can go to www.speedtest.net to find out

2. What is the signal strength for the cameras?

Mine is not recording either...I can watch it live but it's not recording....the setting is on recording and the amount of time but only once a while it record something....so disappointed

The camera is designed to record only when motion is detected. It will not always be recording. When there is motion in front of the camera, does it trigger and produce a recording?
