I haven't yet played around with the sound option, but I am thinking about while at work and am curious if these puppies filter out wind noise or traffic noise, or are they just set to pick up noise at a certain db level and start recording?

You can set audio sensitivity levels in your modes. Read the FAQs here about creating and modifying modes. Short answer - Mode tab, select your base, edit your modes (Armed by default). All settings are in there. Be sure to save. SInce you're trying to work with windy days, create a custom mode for those specific times rather than editing existing modes.

Thanks for the reply. I guess these puppies don't filter wind, it's a shame, you would think wind sound has certain signature and could be reduced at least. I left one of my cameras set at the default and every wind gust it was picking up and recording, so being that I am in the Midwest (wind is a constant) I'll just forego using sound to trigger.
