Will my Arlo camera record locally if no internet connection (like internet outage)?

If my internet connection fails (like during an internet outage), will my Arlo cameras still record to the USB Hard Drive I have connected to the base during the outage?

It is supposed to, but that isn't something I've tested.

 

It's not difficult to test though - you can simply disconnect the WAN cable from your router, and walk in front of the cameras. 

 

You could also disconnect the base LAN port, and do a similar test.
