Why don't library recordings contain sound?

These cameras contain microphones and speakers... why aren't they leveraged when recording detection motion OR manual recorded captures?

Are you sure that the Arlo HD cameras have built in microphones and speakers? I don't think so and I don't think the original base station has speakers either. Educate me if I am wrong.

The Arlo Pro cameras I have most certainly do. You can utilize these items for two way (half duplex) communication through the live feed. But, during recordings. there is no audio. Which, doesn't make any sense to me.

Sorry, the tag said Arlo Wire Free which usually refers to the original Arlo system. My Arlo Pros capture Audio. Maybe you have missed something in the setup. I will do a little research and get back to you.

Did you set up the Audio Settings for each camera in the devices section?
