Why can't I charge the Arlo Pro battery with the supplied charger?

I just received the Extra Battery I ordered on Amazon after a long wait.  In the package was a battery, wall adapter and cable.  There is no way to plug the battery into the cable.  So, it's pointless.  The whole idea was that I could keep one battery charged on the charger and then hot-swap as the ones outside die.  Within just 3 weeks, one of the outdoor camera batteries died and I realized that you must have to plug the camera into the wall to allow the battery to charge. That defeats the whole purpose of a spare battery.  I guess you just want to sell the base station thing for another $60.  So, it looks like it really costs over $110 to simply be able to have a spare battery that is charged!

You have to charge via a camera. There will be a charging base released soon.

That is the complaint here. You have to spend another $110 to charge external from the camera. When I found this out I almost retured the system as I spent over $400 already. The Arlo pro should come with a external charging base included in the box so we dont have to take down a camera for any length of time.

I agree, but it seems to be what it is. No changing it now.
