Just purchased the pro for outdoor install w/o using batteries and directly connecting to AC. I have contacted netgear directly
and was informed they won't provide warranty service on the camera used outside directly connected to AC. Apparently their concerned
about moisture. Has anyone been successful with a direct AC hookup? If so what cable did you buy and what power supply.
Very deceptive advertising by Netgear!
Thank You

Many have chosen to make the Arlo, Pro, and Q cameras operate out side of their design limits...
I've used a Q ( indoor rated only ) camera outside in a coverd porch for a few weeks.... no problem, Others have powered their Arlo cameras with ac for over 6months that I know of.... you just have to know that if something happens, its all on you.
BTW, there will be a solar panel for the Pro released soon...so battery pack will be self charged
