I understand that the Flexpower has a difference base station, and its the base station which does the ONVIF stuff, so in theory could i connect the Arlo Pro camera to the Flexpower base station, or would I need to buy new camera's to work with a Flexpower setup, considering the camera's look identical, use the same battery and have the same accessories.

I was curious too if the current Arlo Pro and the new Arlo Pro 2 cameras would work with the Flexpower base. Amazon has the Flexpower base for pre-order and this is in the description.
- Provide wireless connection to the NETGEAR FlexPower wire-free IP cameras, while ensuring ONVIF compatibility and extending battery life
 - Supports up to 4 NETGEAR FlexPower Cameras
 - *Does not work with NETGEAR Arlo Cameras, Arlo Cloud Storage, or the Arlo Mobile App
 - *NETGEAR FlexPower Base Station requires NETGEAR FlexPower Camera for operation
 - *Will not work as a standalone camera or WiFi - requires a network storage device and video management interface to operate

With this information I hope they update the the NETGEAR FlexPower cameras to 1080p as the just announced Arlo Pro 2 cameras.

To add clarification to this discussion, there will be no compatibility between Arlo cameras and FlexPower cameras/base station. If you have a FlexPlower base station, only FlexPower cameras can be used.
