What is the symbol with three horizontal lines and a circle that is yellow for one of my cameras and not for the other in the attached photo? I noticed that the camera with the yellow symbol had not recorded in several days this afternoon, so I clicked it and it went gray. The camera then made one recording and poof, it's yellow again. This has happened twice in the last hour.

I think you are referring to the new motion detection icon.  It formerly looked like a little person, but now is a dot with three lines.  See number 2 in the following link for the way it is supposed to work.
