Any camera can be added to your account, but some might require that you purchase a new hub.  You can check the compatibility list here:

Note there is a VMBxxxx label on the base.

Several cameras can also connect directly to your home wifi (Pro 3 Floodlight, Pro 4, Pro 5s, Essentials, Video Doorbells).

All currently sold models require a subscription for cloud storage - Arlo stopped offering 7-day free cloud storage on new camera models about five years ago.
